Ali Tarani – Biography:
Ali Tarani, born on September 18, 1987, began his academic journey in Software Technology Engineering at Islamic Azad University, Karaj Branch, and Qazvin University. During his internship at the Pasteur Institute of Iran and through his familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, he shifted his technical and engineering focus from commercial software to intelligent control systems, validation, and performance assurance in food and pharmaceutical production processes, as well as high-tech fields such as bioelectronics, which require process validation.
In addition to his academic studies in software, hardware, and mechatronics (Associate and Bachelor’s levels via distance learning and e-learning), he pursued specialized pharmaceutical engineering training at international pharmaceutical academies, including ASHRAE, Santa Monica, and ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering). His ultimate goal is to earn a PhD in Mechatronics Engineering to apply this field’s technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.
His major contributions in the pharmaceutical and high-tech industries include design, financial and technical planning, evaluation, supervision, and factory control for organizations such as the Pasteur Institute of Iran, Ronak Daru, Kharazmi Pharmaceutical Company, the Nano Special Headquarters Cancer Diagnostic Kit, Parsian Pharmaceutical Company, Tahoora Shafa Daru Company, and Vitabiotics UK (Iran Branch).
He has also gained significant experience in drafting pharmaceutical business plans, evaluating technology readiness levels (TRL), preparing technology transfer contracts, and valuing technical knowledge in knowledge-based pharmaceutical companies. In 2021, he established the Padideh Technology Development Center to commercialize health-focused knowledge-based products.
