🎙 Detailed Interview on “Kar va Pelleh” Radio Program (Radio Eqtesad)

In a comprehensive discussion on the specialized radio program Kar va Pelleh (Work and Steps) aired on Radio Eqtesad, Mr. Torani elaborated on the foundational philosophy and operational strategy of the Padideh Giah Technology Development Center — a pioneering institution in developing infrastructure for contract manufacturing (CDMO) of herbal drugs and dietary supplements.

Key highlights included the introduction of the Innovation Factory project located in the Eshtehard Industrial Town, designed to:

  • Provide a standardized industrial space for the production of herbal liquid medicines and nutritional supplements

  • Offer CDMO services to knowledge-based and pharmaceutical companies in Iran

  • Enhance the competitiveness of the national health industry

  • Attract investment for the completion phase of the project, with a funding target of 200 billion IRR

Mr. Torani emphasized the importance of creating a collaborative value chain between academia, industry, and private investors, while highlighting the center’s track record in accelerating several successful startups. He also touched upon future plans for export development and international partnerships, especially with small foreign companies interested in entering the Iranian market.

In continuation of his media presence, Mr. Torani participated in a live broadcast on IRINN (Islamic Republic of Iran News Network), discussing innovation in Iran’s pharmaceutical industry.

He presented the center’s structural and technical capabilities, highlighting the Innovation Factory’s capacity to produce 4 million bottles of syrup-based medicine annually, and emphasizing the importance of technology transfer, the development of standard cleanrooms, and leveraging industrial zones in the pharmaceutical economy.


👤 Introduction of Mr. Ali Torani, CEO of Padideh Giah Technology Development Center

Mr. Ali Torani (born 18 September 1987) is a multidisciplinary engineer with expertise spanning pharmaceutical engineering, high-tech systems validation, and smart manufacturing. A graduate of Islamic Azad University of Karaj and Qazvin, he began his career with a technical internship at Pasteur Institute of Iran, later specializing in smart control systems, bioelectronics, mechatronics, and validation processes in food and pharmaceutical industries.

He has completed advanced training through international pharmaceutical engineering academies including ISPE, ASHRAE (India), and Santa Monica Institute (USA), covering:

  • GMP-compliant pharmaceutical plant design

  • GLP, GDP, GSP, GCP documentation and audit systems

  • CTD dossier preparation and eCTD software development

  • Commercialization of biosimilars and herbal medicines

  • Design of mechatronic and cleanroom systems for high-tech industries
     

Mr. Torani has contributed to major industrial projects with entities like Pasteur Institute, Ronak Daru, Khwarizmi Pharma, Vitabiotics UK, and Barakat Pharma Group. In 2021, he founded Padideh Giah Technology Development Center to commercialize health-related innovations and bridge the gap between science, technology, and industry.
